macro breakdown.
the nutritional estimates included in this breakdown are provided to assist you in making informed dietary choices. and are based on average values for the ingredients used in my recipes.
due to natural variations in food products, portion sizes, and specific cooking methods, actual nutritional content may vary. we are committed to transparency and accuracy in all that we offer and are continually refining my processes to ensure that the information i provide is as precise as possible.
your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to improve and tailor our services to your tastes and nutritional needs - so pls let us know if you have any concerns!
allergen information.
our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, and gluten. although we make every effort to prevent it, there is always a chance of cross-contamination. please consider this when ordering if you have food sensitivities or allergies.

your lunch sets are prepared in a way so that they could be enjoyed throughout the week. this is why it's essential to refrigerate the lunch sets immediately upon receipt. if you plan to enjoy them even later in the week, freezing is an option, but you need to transfer it down to the fridge at least one day before consuming to first let it defrost naturally.
plastic container and lid are microwaveable.
as food dries out in the fridge, microwaving the meal as it is (and uncovered) will result in even drier rice, sauces and proteins. splash some water on them and cover them when reheating to bring back some moisture. we promise it works.
when in doubt about reheating, reach out anytime!

we want to provide an option where sustainability is incorporated into our operation, that’s where this is all started.
the first iteration was glass container (we still provide this for Park Slope pick-ups) but the size and weight were becoming a nuisance for a lot of our customers so we moved to fiber compostable containers. this was a great stage of the operation - they looked good and actually compostable (in the right facilities).
however, fiber containers ended up absorbing more moisture than anticipated, by thu/fri the meals came out drier and the containers became soggy. this focus on sustainability should not take away from the dining experience itself, which is, well, the main value of our practice. so we’re finally putting our business foot down and to these containers we said enough is enough.
new containers will be made of durable polypropylene plastic, they’re good BPA free, microwavable, dishwasher safe, freezer safe and of course, recyclable. so please reuse them or when our team delivers your next meals, return them!
